Maksym Kolomiets

Contemporary composer, oboist, organizer, co-founder of Ensemble Nostri Temporis. Maksym Kolomiets was born in Kyiv in 1981. In 1999, he graduated from the Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum, studying oboe under Oleh Shchehlov and composition under Alla Zagaykevych. He graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv Conservatory) as oboist (class of Vadym Boyko, 2005) and as composer (class of Mykola Kovalinas, 2009). From 2014 to 2016, he studied composition with Johannes Schöllhorn at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Germany).
