Viktoria Polyova

Victoria Valeriivna Polova (born 1962, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian composer and winner of numerous international awards and honors, including the L. M. Revutsky Prize (1995), the B. M. Lyatoshynsky Prize (2005), the international Spherical Music competition (USA, 2008), the Artem Vedel Kyiv Municipal Prize (2013), the Ukrainian Composers' Union Prize (2014), and the Ukrainian Composers' Union Prize for the Best Opera (2015). Latoshynsky Prize (2005), the Spherical Music International Competition (USA, 2008), the Artem Vedel Kyiv Municipal Prize (2013), and the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2018). The composer's works are published abroad, and her music is performed at various music festivals, competitions, and art projects, as well as in concert halls in Ukraine, Europe, the USA, the UAE, Peru, and Chile.
